Ski in France, espresso in Italy
La Rosière connects directly with La Thuile in Italy. Ski the French slopes in the morning, cross the border for lunch, and enjoy a proper Italian espresso before skiing home.
La Rosière sits at 1,850 m in the Savoie Alps and forms part of the cross-border Espace San Bernardo ski area with La Thuile. Together they offer more than 150 km of marked pistes, with skiing reaching 2,800 m at Mont Valaisan.
The resort is especially attractive for families with mixed skiing abilities, combining beginner areas and ski schools with extensive terrain for more experienced skiers. Its high altitude and position close to the Petit Saint-Bernard pass give La Rosière a strong reputation for reliable snow.
From La Foglietta, the ski lifts and ski school are both around a ±5 min walk. Children can walk there in ski boots — even our 3-year-old can do it.
